iStock videos are in danger of being downloaded without watermark for free.

All you iStock video contributors out there, your videos are in danger of thieves downloading for free without watermark using Canva.

An iStock exclusive contributor reported a thief has uploaded hundreds of his videos on other stock sites.

There are many YouTube videos giving instructions on how to do it.

Good luck!!!

blvdone:
It's very easy to do this using Canva.  Because people who download using this method probably just use those iStock clips for free themselves and never get caught, you never know how much damage is done.  So, good luck if you still contribute to iStock.

dragonblade:
Ouch! It's a good thing that I don't submit videos to iStock.

I admit I don't know much about Canva.

Good.  I only sell my videos on Pond5 for the price I set.

odesigns:
They're not really getting the clip for "free" with this method.  Since iStock is probably a partner with Canva, even the download of the "clean" video will count as a legitimate, paid download for the contributor.

Albeit the download will probably only net the contributor a few pennies for this use, but that's another topic.
