Post by: bossbaby on August 31, 2017, 21:23
Don't trust  gettyimages . com  istockPhoto . com
(#1) Very very poor customer support. They never reply to contact form messages.
(#2) They are actually based in India. Although they using a mailing address of Canada on their website.
(#3) They stealing my money silently.
I didn't purchase anything from their site after 2015, but recently they started charging my card $40 USD every month, silently, without any invoice or any email.
I contacted them through: contact form, phone, email.
I talked with a person named Deepak, who told me (2017 Aug 20) that, the money will be refunded to my card within 2 business days. But no action taken. no reply email reply. moreover they charged my card 3rd time (at 23 Aug 2017).

Thanks for doing this. This site is for photographers who supply pictures to Getty, iStock and other agencies.

It's interesting and helpful to know how the other side -- people who buy pictures from Istock -- are treated.
