You can now see in the app which photos were downloaded. Also in esp you can see if they were subs, credits, etc.

looks good not better. But better than Many others including shutterstock and adobe. I began uploading videos to istock as well. So far so good. These numbers are absolutely better than other all in each counts.

The wheel's turning.
Good luck, everyone, that's the name of the game.

And the Stats are in!

For me: highest dls of the year, second highest $$ of the year (I'm having a dismal year), but low rpd of $1.46 means it's my new worst July since 2007 (I became exclusive halfway through Aug 2007).
Down 56% on last July's $$, with 10% more dls.

It is what it is (I hate that saying!)

And it's another disappointment.

Basically 40% of stuff is sold for peanuts (or less). Very low.

The other like 60% is sold for very little money.

Fat GI sales are nonexistent or few and far between. A FAR CRY from 2-3-5-X years ago.

As far as I see this, this "business" is doomed. It's stalled, tired, oversaturated and creatively staged and fake. They are out of ideas for new horizons and businesses, just milking while they can.

I am surprised that July was the best month for 2019.

Could someone please tell me how I can tell which video clips were sold through DM? Thanks!

Go to the "Statistics", then click on the appropriate colour (on mine it's pink) in the second circle which by default is "File Type".

Then scroll down to see the videos sold.

If you want a specific month, click on the month you want in the list on the left.

Is there ANY WAY on ESP to see at a glance how much sales were in a month?

I know there is one column (Premium Access and RF - whatever these might be in the real world!) with just 2 numbers to add together to find the total - but surely somewhere there is a 'grand total' (for want of a better phrase) for the month?

Or not....

In the Royalties tab click on the Summary link, middle of the left hand three links. Your default month start date should currently be July 1st 2019 and the total earned in July is given as 'Payment Amount'.

Mine is showing the "Exciting" July results  ::)

Here's the place Sue advised you to look at  Summary = Statement

https://accountmanagement.gettyimages.com/Reports/Statement

Unfortunately if you want the month total not the accrued total, you will need to go to:

https://accountmanagement.gettyimages.com/Reports/Export

and download the text file, or click on the PDF and view. I find the display confusing and tiny, and it also shows total earning not monthly? (or maybe I'm confused?)

The way I look at earnings and can sort by many ways, including showing by month is this:

https://www.todayis20.com/

Download your text files from ESP, upload them to Todayis20 clear and simple lists and displays of what's sold and how much.

Things like:

Lifetime stats
Stats by Royalty Month
Stats by date
Stats by day
Gallery
Most valuable
Best sellers
Stats by Revenue per sale
Stats by product type
Stats by collection
Stats by content type
Stats by customer
Stats by Label
Stats by first photo sale
Stats by rating earnings
Stats by EXIF data
Labs: Beta things

Hi Gannet77, thanks for the reply!

Which tab is for "file tape"? Sorry for being so ignorant.

I only have a few video clips with iStock, that's why I did not pay much attention. However, they seem to sell often somehow.

I am surprised that July was the best month for 2019.

Thanks again!

If you've clicked on the bit of the circle for the videos (you can also click on the "Creative Video" text in the middle of the circle), then scroll down to below the bar charts and it will be showing thumbnails for all clips sold during whatever period you selected.

Use todayis20.com. It's a good web page that shows more info on your iStock sales.

I can relate to that. It makes me feel worried every time when I see a high number of downloads.

Thanks but just for info - the glitch with this is that when you don't reach payment (!) it shows zero as it is just a record of monies being paid by them to us and not sales.

Still useful but a different thing.

Thanks, very helpful. I have set up Todayis20.

Can I just confirm that July1st statement which was released 20th August (more or less) relates to June sales. Just to be clear.....

Ta! :)

PS RPD 70cents. But even my 'best sellers' have sold so little......sales must be spread very thin..... Oh well.

Oh, sorry, I didn't cotton onto that. I haven't yet reached that depressing milestone quite yet, but I surely will.  >:( :'(

todayis20.com is pretty nice.  But I don't think I like this particular graph (if I'm reading it correctly).

But you can't blame Todayis20 for what you see there. (I'm sure you know that)
It's just a visual representation of what we already know about Getty  >:( depending on our percentage rate.

Right.  I think todayis20.com is a great resource, and I think I'll donate to the developer.  It's just a real eye-opener to see these stats in graphical form.

I'd like to see a todayis20.com for Shutterstock and Pond5, too.

I like Todayis20, and also looking at my stats in DeepMeta, from where I only realised this afternoon that I only get my published exclusive rate on about a third my sales, unsurprisingly the Getty sales which net me 20% must be getting pushed, as they are  account for c2/3 of my sales.  >:( :( :'(
