Title: June PP stats
Post by: luissantos84 on July 24, 2012, 08:37
looks like it is over and I have a "serious" drop in downloads, after almost 1 year with over 200 downs / month it have dropped to the 140's

I feel your pain Luis.  For me, 50% drop from last month.  Can all the blame be placed on the summertime slowdown?

It's probably due to dilution from more files being transferred over from independents. My sales are still growing there each month as more of my images are added (still only about 2/3rds of my port).

I agree with Gostwyck about the dilution.  It is the same thing I saw at BigStock when they started the Bridge to Bigstock program.  Those of us already on the site saw sales drop as they transferred lots of new images from SS.

That said, my PP sales are only slightly down.  Less of a drop than I expected, to be honest.  I'm happy they are holding relatively steady.

that makes sense, curious that it took so long, will see the following months, I have almost all my portfolio there once I am there since the start, I have not uploaded in iStock for almost 5 months, still have around 150 pics not in the PP

More or less stagnating throughout 2012.

You'd be the king of PP if you hadn't pulled red+ flames down ;)
