It's better than in May

Slightly fewer sales than May, but a much lower RPD.
$$ 1% up on last June!  8)

I think this particular string would have made a great "Survey"-

1. BME     (Best Month Ever)
2. WME    (Worst Month Ever)
3. About Average
4. No Comment
5. Who Cares

53 dollars.

Lowest 0.02 to 5.73. Feels like over 90% is below 1 dollar.

I havent uploaded in months, doubt it is worth the hassle now.

Even the so called low earners can now give better results than istock.

Ha Ha I Know how you feel. In April I got exactly the same amount as March right down to the cents. It was exactly the same ****.** That was just too uncanny for me.

June was just extremely ordinary for me after a really good May. I got to admit that Premium Access Time Limited is Killing me. 4K footage files that cost quite a bit to produce are selling for $0.12 and I get 100's a month. I still get the big sales too but I feel that Getty is really pushing the Premium Access hard. It will mean the end of footage on Getty as they are showing truly how greedy they are. Charging $10,000 + dollars a year membership for company's to download our footage and keeping 99.999% of the $$$ and all we get are the crappy $0.12 after they take the 80% from a ridiculous sub fee. How is this allowed and possible? There should be a law about this?

2.5% less than May, so that's good enough for me.

Up $40 over last month. Nothing earth shattering. I hate getting monthly statement....when are they ever going to real time sales? I suspect never.  It gives them a cloak of control to hide a lot of riffraff.

I'm pretty sure they're not going to go onto real time. Because of the subs thing, where we get a percentage of the subs actually used, it wouldn't be possible, at least for subs, and for me at least, subs are >60% of sales.

Most of the sales reported in the "June Statement" were actually from May. So my May suddenly became BME, but June was a disaster. Maybe my June sales will be repored on 20th August?

Anyone else?

They could easily report what's sold but not how much for........

My June statement read zero downloads zero earnings...

... Oh I forgot it's because I ditched them on account I didn't want to be shafted any longer   ;D

Suddenly much higher rpd than in May (more or less the same # of downloads but twice more in $), and very few "tiny" sales this month, hm

Slightly higher than May, but still disappointing. Total expected revenue will be even less than last year. I'll be earning the same amount as I did in 2011...

Did anyone read their newsletter that said they found a royalty glitch and would be recalculating history and potentially see a bump in royalty payments? They said it would be completed by last night but this morning i dont see any changes in my income. Perhaps it will show up in Julys figures next month.

I did see that, and my overnight bump was tiny enough to be normal overnight sales.

I read it as just the download number will increase, nothing about actual royalties. the download counter hasn't been working since Jan so I'm expecting the counter to rise.

I might have misinterpreted it wrong though? Where does it say about actual royalties and payments?

Mine did not change either so they must have encountered yet another bug?

I also read it as dls  increasing not cash. So in other words time to recheck RPD because it was lower than initially reported

I was only looking at the counter rise. It could have been tiny overnight sales, or it could have been a tiny adjustment bump.
However, it did say in the email that they would "correct all year to date totals by end of day on July 20", so it should have been done before my overnight. Well, yesterday's download increment might have been my normal tiny day's sale or it might have represnted a tiny bump.

OTOH, I haven't so far read on their forum, or a couple of Fb groups I'm in, anyone reporting a 'bump', so who knows?

Yes, thanks - I hadn't noticed but after reading your post now see from my latest statement (released 20 July, which I assumed was for June sales) actually includes a fair number of May sales, probably about a fifth overall. So maybe May was better than I thought - but my iStock statement charts don't seem to reflect this (ie, the June totals haven't changed since this latest statement). It might just be a case of all the labyrinthine sale figures filtering through at treacle-like pace?

I also notice that Microstockr Pro figures (great software by the way if you don't already use) seems to struggle with these figures, nothing has updated on it yet for iStock, perhaps it's just all so complex we're talking weeks (or even months) before some sort of true figures show up?

I just got an increment bump of 16, which is way beyond what I expect nowadays, so I assume that the system catching up, or has caught up.

I got a huge jump, about 10% more of what I had.

My june is more than doubled compared to june 2016.

And considering that I de-activated my best selling images while I still could, and stopped uploading, some time in the autumn last year, It's surprising.

When I look at the 2017 IS income till now, it's almost on par with the total IS income for 2016, so it has increased a lot, despite no new files, and the best selling de-activated. IS is now on second place for me, where it was FT last year.

That sometimes make me consider uploading to IS again, but I just won't accept royalties as low as 2 cents.

Yes I feel so happy that it only took them two months to send me the dismal sales report.  ;D

As a pleasing note the 2c and 14c commissions seem to have vanished. But 15% of crap is still crap. Can't decide if I want to go on with them. I suspect that's their plan all along. Get rid of the low earning independent people. Maybe not a bad plan, I'm happy to take my photos and leave. I make much more on other sites, both commission and money.

I stopped uploading new files last year. I don't see a future at IS. Just waiting for the next exciting contributor news, which has never been anything but ways to cut our cut.
