Is anyone else having problems with the language at iStockphoto? This language glitch happens when I am in the process of uploading a new image. I tried typing in the word tassle as an experiment, and the term it returned is Quaste. French? This is happening in the area where you type keywords and hit the add button. I just wanted to see if anyone else is having issues.

Weird.
I've not seen that one... It might be personal, the site dosn't lik eyou. ;D

Hmm.... if you meant 'a ball-shaped bunch of plaited or otherwise entangled threads from which at one end protrudes a cord.....' then the correct spelling is tassel.
As far as I am aware the English language does not have a word 'tassle', which is probably why iStock assumed you were speaking French (!)
Istock's word CV is the most comprehensive of any of the agencies (by a long way) and it might be frustrating but also very unlikely it will make a mistake. I often include foreign language words and phrases in my keywords if relevant (such as 'Bureau de Change'); iStock recognises those words but the others don't in most instances.

No, that's not the only word I tried. I also attempted to use the word cake and cookie; both were shown in another language.
Update: Nevermind. Somehow my search language was switched to Deutsch. Sorry to be a bother.
