Last month, I closed my exclusive Getty account. I still have a few unpaid sales made during the first days of the month.
Since I ended the contract, I was expecting to get paid with the leftover balance from both the editorial and commercial accounts (true, both under the minimum $50 threshold)
But no, no Getty payment, today!

Well done, Getty! Enjoy my confiscated money and good riddance!

How large was your port and why did you close it?

I didn't have a large port with them. I'm sure those photos will bring me more, if sold through the regular non-exclusive agencies.
Anyway, it is a matter of principles, those few dozens of bucks are not theirs to keep.

I joined Getty only few months before. By the end of first month I had less than 10 images with them and one got downloaded. By the end of 3rd month I had around 35 images. Nothing was downloaded in second or third months. Now I have around 50 images. I want to see how they do with these 50 images before uploading anymore. I would like to see how others do with them as well, but no one seems to be voting for them in monthly survey.

Edit: Sorry for being out of the topic, but I don't know the answer.

They were added to late to the list to get enough votes. Give people time to get used to adding getty income on msg.

Are you on Moment or In house?
On GI forum, moment users post the pics they sold and their income every months. You can't be more transparent. For In-houses, there is no info.

I don't think it can do any harm to contact them and ask about your money. Apparently, iS give you your balance if you quit, so you should hopefully get what's owed.

Thanks for the info.
I just checked the forum. Seems not very impressive.
