We are trying something a little different this month from the Earnings Ratings. Let's measure the amount of earnings per image you received at this agency during the month.
This is a pretty simple calculation. If you had $200 in earnings at iStock in May 2008, and 400 images online, then you earned $0.50 per image ($200/400). If you had $100 in earnings and only 50 images online, then you earned $2.00 per image ($100/50).
For simplicity you might want to use the # of images online at the start of May.
If you just joined the agency, you should probably abstain this month until you have a full month of earnings to measure. If we get enough participation, we might be able to better compare the earnings power of our agencies.

Let's see if anybody bites on your post. Mine from a few days ago went unanswered. http://www.microstockgroup.com/index.php/topic,4788.0.html (http://www.microstockgroup.com/index.php/topic,4788.0.html)

$.11 per image.

Looks like it is getting a good response. :)
Let's see how much participation it gets. If it is good, we can do it again next month too. I'll also fine tune the poll choices based on the votes.

$3.30 per image. see...that's not hard! ;)
-
You need higher options. My was $12.30/image this month.

Currently .9445, but will change later tonight when I update my file counts.

Wow, that's very impressive. But then again, you are like the Superman of contributors. :-*
Not surprised to see iStock be the most "all over the board" so far, just from reading the forum comments the last several months. Seems like people either are making a small fortune or really struggling.
-
...But then again, you are like the Superman of contributors...
Ha! I wish. :) Superman would be one of the guys trying to do 900 images in one month at SS.

$1,4404477611940298507462686567164 per image! ;D
Interesting poll. Now I'm curious if those averages change now we got subscriptions!
@ Helix; is that with EL's included?
Having vectors will also influence our average because they can't go below one dollar, well..... now with subscriptions they can!
-
I thought I would be alone in the last category. Just 17c. :(

you need lower options too.
89 images, 9.69 = .09? lol wow isuck again

I'm not sure what you mean by this. The smallest amount you can earn on a vector is based on a 1 credit image, and the smallest amount you can earn on a photo is based on a 1 credit XS image. Is the low not the same?

Nope. No ELs in May.
-
-> 0,81 here
@helix7: congratulation, very impressing!!

Mine was 0.24/image

Less than $0.25

IS is leading this statistics for me.

You're right! After the price change I thought there where no more 1 credit vectors. But it seems there are. At least I don't have any! ;D

Our current vector prices are 1, 5, 10 and 20 credits. What we'll be doing August 20th is raising these to 3, 7, 12 and 25.
-
that is some nice prices for vectors
That's not all though: We're adding a brand new price level for 1 credit (making the final price levels 1, 3, 7, 12 and 25).

and the next sentence in that thread you quoted reads:

Anyway, that thread is old news too b/c there is no such animal as a 3 credit vector anymore. The actual prices for vectors are currently 1-5-10-15-25.

...It is VERY hard now to get something through that is accepted AND only 1 credit.
I agree. I find that if it's something so simple that it justifies a 1-credit price, it is also very likely to just get rejected as not suitable for stock.
-
FWIW, I don't have but a couple of one-credit vectors. It is VERY hard now to get something through that is accepted AND only 1 credit.
I don't know why, but I don't have problems with that. I made a lot to reach gold canister. You have to upload one simple design element, like an icon or a very simple background. Sometimes they come 5 credits, but if you send an email to vectorpricing, they usually listen.

$0.76

6.39 per image
went exclusive halfway through the month.
april was 3.29 per image

I will post June when it is July to see how much of a difference Exclusivity made, if any.
