We are trying something a little different this month from the Earnings Ratings. Let's measure the amount of earnings per image you received at this agency during the month.

This is a pretty simple calculation. If you had $200 in earnings at iStock in May 2008, and 400 images online, then you earned $0.50 per image ($200/400). If you had $100 in earnings and only 50 images online, then you earned $2.00 per image ($100/50).

For simplicity you might want to use the # of images online at the start of May.

If you just joined the agency, you should probably abstain this month until you have a full month of earnings to measure. If we get enough participation, we might be able to better compare the earnings power of our agencies.

Looks like it is getting a good response.

Let's see how much participation it gets. If it is good, we can do it again next month too. I'll also fine tune the poll choices based on the votes.

Wow, that's very impressive. But then again, you are like the Superman of contributors.

Not surprised to see iStock be the most "all over the board" so far, just from reading the forum comments the last several months. Seems like people either are making a small fortune or really struggling.

Interesting poll. Now I'm curious if those averages change now we got subscriptions!
@ Helix; is that with EL's included?
Having vectors will also influence our average because they can't go below one dollar, well..... now with subscriptions they can!

I'm not sure what you mean by this. The smallest amount you can earn on a vector is based on a 1 credit image, and the smallest amount you can earn on a photo is based on a 1 credit XS image. Is the low not the same?

You're right! After the price change I thought there where no more 1 credit vectors. But it seems there are. At least I don't have any!

Anyway, that thread is old news too b/c there is no such animal as a 3 credit vector anymore. The actual prices for vectors are currently 1-5-10-15-25.

I agree. I find that if it's something so simple that it justifies a 1-credit price, it is also very likely to just get rejected as not suitable for stock.

I don't know why, but I don't have problems with that. I made a lot to reach gold canister. You have to upload one simple design element, like an icon or a very simple background. Sometimes they come 5 credits, but if you send an email to vectorpricing, they usually listen.
