Title: Model Releases Needed Again on Resubmits?
Post by: 123XXX on October 20, 2010, 01:27
I noticed that every time I click to edit a photo that is in the cue for review (right after I do a photo resubmit) that the option to upload a model release is still there even though I submitted one already. So if there is a model in the photo I always resubmit the model release again at this point as well.

From my understanding though this shouldn't be necessary. I have had a few instances in the past though where the model release was submitted with the original image, but not submitted again during the resubmit, and then image got rejected by the reviewer saying the photo requires a model release. So to be sure I got in the habit now of always resubmitting model releases now as well.

I am wondering if this is this still necessary at this point to always resubmit model releases when resubmitting photos with people in them?

Cheers...

There's a known bug that sometimes flushes model releases on resubmissions. I couldn't find the thread that acknowledged it in the help forum, but there was one. It's been a while since the issue started so it doesn't seem to be high on the fix list unfortunately.
