Title: More iStock/Deep Meta Confusion
Post by: WarrenPrice on January 07, 2012, 18:35
I'm seeing an inordinate number of views but very few sales.  A lot (most) of my iS stuff has transferred to ThinkStock.  I'm wondering if TS views are being counted as 'views' when Deep Meta updates.  I think TS sales are reported in bulk at the end of the month.  Yes?

Or, maybe images are being viewed at iS and purchased at TS?

If this were a best match result, wouldn't that affect views as well?  Just what counts as a view?  Does any image that comes up in search (even on page 2222) count as viewed?  Or, is there more to it?

I realize that views are not dollars and cents but the huge increase is enough to make me wonder what is going on.

Sorry for rambling; it's a result of total confusion.   ::)

I'm not, Luis; it was a question.  Are TS views counted in Meta Data?  If not,, what are all those file updates on Deep Meta?
