In the meantime can anyone web programming oriented explain why do they need 3 day window to send emails? My understanding is that the email is once uploaded and then copies are sent to a number of addresses which is I guess just a bandwidth ting on the side of server or ISP (which I guess company of their caliber has an adequate amount). I'm doubting their provider would say something like: "Whoa, that's a lot of emails you want to send out, you gotta sent them in groups or you are going to clog us badly"

I got email today. Link worked fine with me. Although, I was able to login yesterday already, with my iStock username and password.

Since yesterday, for me, the GI forum > https://contributors.gettyimages.com/forum/ [nofollow]  is DOWN.

I've tried it with 2 different ISP connections. Same result.

Got the email. It wasn't a clickable link and I couldn't copy and paste it (just selected the whole of the email). Tried (and failed) patiently typing the very long code into my address bar and then, finally, just got into ESP using my existing Istock password! So what was all this new password business about?

And if no one minds repeating. I'm still thinking the people who left months ago, got it right.  :) Look at the torture and confusion. All this so they can report lower commissions and earnings for most of us? Waste of time.

Still no email. It's interesting that Deepmeta news page about DeepmetaV3 changed from "coming out later today" to "coming soon".

DM3 is now available.
I just downloaded and installed it.
You need your ESP login details to log in to DM3.
However, it seems only to be functioning as an uploader, there seems to be no access to existing files, far less stats.

There's a tutorial video here.
http://www.deepmeta.com/GettingStarted
I don't know if it will have any other uses. Clearly there weren't going to be any stats, the old ones are still in DM2.

Possibly best to watch that first - seems to be optimised for batch uploading. I only really used DM for various stats functions, e.g. how many downloads I'd had with a particular keyword, which was always interesting.

I didn't receive an email with the login details so wrote them a message. Had to write to Getty Image and this is their reply:

If you are contacting us regarding your iStock account, please sign in to your ESP account  to review our FAQs. If you cannot find the answers to your inquiry, please open a support ticket.

I messaged istock/getty over 2 weeks ago and opened up a support ticket asking about the username/password situation and they haven't replied to me.  Very unprofessional.  It is our images and work which is making them money and they do not treat us with respect.
