Anyone still puzzled by how the new payments are going to work...
Seemed straight forward to me even reading the post in late 2008.
I get payed every week from my job.
I get payed from istockphoto through paypal.
That payment will processed on a wednesday.I have to have my request in by friday.Istockphoto guarantee that payment will be in my paypal account by the following wednesday.
No-one will recieve a payment from request to delivery in more than 9 days.
HAVE I GOT IT RIGHT.Or if my mine is say the first request processed on the wednesday i might have the money in my account by thursday/friday of the same week as that request in processed.

No.

PayPal is a Monday cutoff, Payoneer is on Wednesday - Quote:

"Paypal payment requests cut off every Monday at 9am MST and payments requested up to that cut off will be paid out on the following Monday.
Moneybookers payment requests cut off every Tuesday at 9am MST and payments requested up to that cut off will be paid out on the following Tuesday.
Payoneer payment requests cut off every Wednesday at 9am MST and payments requested up to that cut off will be paid out on the following Wednesday."

Yeah, it's kind of confusing.  Every time I think I know exactly what's going on somebody comes on the forum thread to clarify some point or others and the waters get murky again...  :-\

So if you request payment on a Tuesday you won't get paid for 13 days as it will be processed the following Monday and paid the Monday after that.  Is that right?

ok ty Monday is Paypal day.So i get my request in by friday of the previous week.If i request payment on the wednesday/thursday will that payment be processed quicker than a person requesting payment on friday?? First come first served as we say??
They START processing on Mondays for paypal,so we can presume the first people who have there payments requests processed will have there money before the following monday......Lottery

yes, that is right.  If you want to get paid as soon as possible after requesting payment you should do request payment on a Sunday.

they said they make all payments on the monday so I don't think there is going to be any 'line up' per say.  If you make a request on a wednesday, friday or tuesday it doesn't make a difference, you will get paid on monday 1 week+ later

I really don't get why people try to make things more complicated than they actually are... you make your request anytime before Day X and you will get paid on Day X one week later. Sounds simple and straightforward to me.

Now just replace X with the day of the week for your preferred payment method.

I left my last payment request to late and it's been caught up in this new payment method.
Lets hope this new system works smoothly or the forum admins are going to be busy deleting the rants...

nice way to have other people's money in a pockets.
illustration: i requested some bucks on the january 30th. these money still is not both on my istock account (ok), nor payoneer account, or in my pockets. so... these my money is now in someone's pocket - that's for sure, and that "someone" is not me.
so, on my opinion, this is not a good news for contributors, i do not understand why is did these things on that way.

The major thing i disagree with...why do we have to wait for our request to be processed before asking for a further payment.
eg.Saturday morning.i request a payment. That request starts to get processed on the Monday and istock gaurantees that money will be in my paypal account the following monday.
Now why can't i request a payment every saturday. Are istock telling me they can't process 2 payment requests from the one contributor in an 8 day period.
As i understand it now the saturday request is in my paypal account in 9 days(monday)..and i need to wait till the following Monday before another payment request starts to get processed.
Q..what is the quickest timescale too have two payments from your istock account into your personnel account.
A....

I think you are confusing the processing date with the payout date. My understanding is that you can request a payout every Saturday. The process date for Paypal is the following Monday, and you will receive it the Monday after that. Once your first payment request is processed (on that first Monday, two days after your request), you are free to put in another request. You can't put in two requests within the same 7-day Monday 9 a.m. to Monday 9 a.m. period.

So far seems to be working okay for me.  Yesterday (Mon) I got the payout I requested on the 30th.  I requested another one Friday the 6th and expect it will arrive Monday the 16th, etc.

No real drama here, at least for me anyway.

I am glad i get payed through Paypal and not Payoneer.
I think istock made a mistake making wednesday the day Payoneer payments are payed out and i can well understand the contributors having to wait an extra 5 days wont be happy( takes 3 days to process Payoneer).
They should just switch Mon/paypal,Wed/Payoneer around IMO.
This monday is a holiday but i still hope my payment request into my Paypal account is processed by next Monday!

The way I read the chart is that Paypal payments have been shifted to Tuesday this week because of their public holiday today, you shouldn't miss out a payment this week.

My money was deposited on Tuesday the 17th. I had requested it on Sunday the 8th. I'd praise the fact that they managed to make this work but I would want to curse it.

I'm still trying to recover from "disambiguation". ::)

I requested a payment on this Monday on my MB account, but this Tuesday I didn't get anything...

Anyone knows why?

It takes a week, not a day. If you submit a request by the MB deadline one week, then your payment will post to MB the MB day on the following week. (Once it is posted to MB, istock has no control over how long MB takes to process it)

Seems some people at HQ are better in reading a simple calendar page than you do.
