For a period of five years one of my files always showed up on the first row of the first page on istockphoto search using three main keywords. Now there are five pages when I check all (essentials and signature) and it is not on any page.
I thought istock might have deleted the file for some reason but when I search my name with quotes the file comes up with my port. The three search keywords are still listed for the photo.
Does anyone know a reason this could have happened?

iSNAFU.
Sometimes when people have reported this issue in the forums, some replies have been able to find the file and others haven't.
In my case, with dozens, maybe hundreds, of files, the main keywords were 'disappeared' presumably during the ESP process. In some of these, I could find them when searching within my own port but not within the whole collection with the same search.

Which would be highly-unlikely-to-impossible outwith iS.

Thanks ShadySue, I'm not going to worry about it I guess as istock doesn't earn much for my small port but it may be a problem for someone with great moneymaking shots that go missing.

Ha! Maybe lots of your files are missing to a proportion of buyers.
I'd report it anyway, might as well make them earn their 85%.
