Is it just me or is anyone else having a back-to-back Worst Month in two years as well?

What about your iStock-only sales bar (the blue one)?

My graph is totally different to yours:

but to put it in perspective, July was my worst month for $$ since Dec 2007.

My graph is different to yours, but the ups and downs of the blue bits are similar:

I have never had a Getty Images sale on iStock. Is it only for exclusive images or Vetta or sth?

How do you know until PP sales are in? November could turn out to be great. I'm hoping my November turns out like my October.

I think the OP was only meaning the blue bits, i.e. sales directly out of iStockphoto.

hi,I find most of your files on IS are set to 1 credit, so your IS sales commissions might be lower than PP sales?right? :-\

Gotta wait until the Getty sales are entered but November was probably a BME and December probably about the same as last year.  Bring on the New Year, I think it's going to be a good one!

Atta way, Tick.

All my images are in Main and selling for peanuts and selling rarely at that.  According to Lobo there will be no chance of solid performing Main images moving upward in the collections in the forseable future.  So, the present and future are bleak for me at iS.  I don't give a rip, however, as things are going well elsewhere.
Too bad we can't upload directly to the PP; I'd drop iS in a heartbeat.

As money is money and as a "green dollar" or a "violet dollar" is still a dollar (for my wallet and my bank) like any "blue dollar", I don't consider only the blue bars on iStock, but bars of every color.

Btw my blue bars are generally growing

All indie files are priced the same, XS at 1 credit - 7 credits for XXXL

IIRC, they only 'guarantee' to get your PP payments to you by the end of the month, but even that 'guarantee' is flexible ...

Added: "When do I get paid and how can I see what I've sold?
Partner Program royalties are paid once a month and are paid a month after the sales occur. For example, files sold on the PP sites in January would be reported on iStock towards the end of February and so on for subsequent months. The sales reports usually appear over one or more weekends but there is no set day for royalty pay outs to begin."

StockXpert was posted two days ago, this is usually a sign that IS payment is just around the corner - maybe the elves are working overtime this weekend?  ;D

Lately, they seem the alternate GI and PP payment dates. If one month PP comes first, next month GI comes first(and viceversa). If that's true,  for November sales GI will come earlier.

I take your point, but I think it's worth keeping a watch on the blue bars, as the others were touted as 'adding to your iStock income', not 'shoring it up'.

Grim month. However, if October was a trendsetter for the PP then I should see my Christmas stocking filled with more goodies than last year.

Must remember to put a mince pie and a noggin out for Santa just in case.

Yes, I agree with you, but when I have to pay the bill to the plumber he does not care if this money comes from regular, pp or Getty sales :D

And this last months I have the impression that the pp sales are more "regular" than the regular ones.
