These are examples of the credits I got in November for connect. To be fair, only one was the 0.00012, but only three were 0.15### which is 15 Most were .00393 California 3/10th of a cent or .03034 from Australia for 3 cents?

0.00012
0.00393
0.03034
0.06067
0.15167
0.15189

Anyway, your numbers are in. Have fun.

I got 17 dollars from 116 downloads. The pits. But then I'm the idiot to still have an istock account active.

Well obviously Me Too  :) My current plan is get to $100 or whatever I can, by September of 2021, and close the account. The hope is, all the transactions will be completed and Getty can pay me. Also whatever that amount is, will be on a 1099 for 2021, nothing in 2022. Maybe I should be thinking August?

Anyone who hasn't left should either be collecting enough to be satisfied with what they get, or planning on getting out? I'm sure there are some who do the same at IS and other low earning places, with no apparent growth, and just ignore them, but keep the account open for whatever money comes from past efforts. Why not?

Everyone has to decide for themself how to deal with low earning sites. I don't care enough to keep them open.

Really hard to understand for me.

In my pdf:

35 sales 22.5 USD including 3 connect sales?

487 files in connect? Using them for free? 3 in the pdf, one for free, one for 0.04, one for 10.82.

The cool thing is that most of my sales are in the USA. Can't reach this market in SS.

Word is (from them and from people who have left) that they'll pay you even if you don't reach payout by the time you've left, and you could get drips of cents for a few months afterwards.

PS: As for Nov's stats: "They are what they are".  :( Strangely, for a few months my UK sales have been well below my US sales, which is surprising considering my content.

Average month for me, a bit lower than what I had expected based on how SS and Adobe performed for me last month.
Noteworthy for me is the complete lack of any sales that earned me more than a few bucks. Also had quite a few refunds, but all  for small cent-sales, so they hardly make a difference. Just makes me wonder who bothers to return images he payed a few cents for....

Things could be worse, you could still have your SS account open and get $11.60 for those 116 downloads and that is at 35% hahahaha.

Hard for me to understand as well. My connect sales (did you download that or you can import into a database as a CSV even though it's market .txt) says I have uses in California and Australia, varying from the three for 15 to that one for .00012 commission? Most are in the .03 and .003 sets. 3 cent download, or is that 3 cent and a third of a cent uses or views? I still don't understand Connect.

Those are different from the downloads in the other data. I had two of these this month.

That's supposed to be 20% of something?  :o

You know that's not true. I'm only level four and my rpd for November on SS was $.64 and I'm hardly a top producer of quality content. Sure the 10c downloads sting, but contrary to people who try to say that's all we get, the numbers are much better. AS is of course much better. Even my bottom end images are making me .90 rpd on Adobe.

Oh kind of back on topic, IS was 36 rpd cents for November.

The way I understand Connect and I could be wrong is that they appear in a slide show of embedded images, depending on how that is done you get a portion of a cent .... there is a page in the contributor portal that explains it better.
But the reality is that Connect sales are not real sales in the true sense of the word except as a cumulative total.

Almost all my connect are from Washington and Bing. My rpd is still a bit higher on SS but... with these sales I can't make money. Not good enough to sale millions of pictures for 0.10 or 0.03.

Best month for a while on there. Surprising as my sales are mostly tanking everywhere else.

Closed my istock account at March. Its a long way to Australia, seems there are still some of my photos available.
Three sales in Australia, each for $0,08 at November.

I sold 71 images on iStock in November 2020 with an RPD $0.50.

Just an average month.

For me it has been the worst month since 2010. At that time I had 1000 files Now I have 20.000. The oil tanker is sinking faster than I thought......

SS account is open. 230 downloads, 93$. So yeah, IS way worse and if I was any smarter, would have closed it long ago. 90 quid is still some extra cash. Buys me a few meals.

That's sad, because some people like you work so hard and smart to upload so many images. I'm just coasting into the finish at iStock at this point, then leaving. First they removed all my motorsports, then they closed audio. That's a personal problem...  ;) But enough to tell me, time to move on.
