Title: Partner Portal: $0.19
Post by: amabu on December 23, 2015, 11:19
I've noticed several "Partner Portal: $0.19" sales aside from the usual Thinkstock and Getty360 reported as PP.

Does anyone know what they are? Are they from Fotomore?

Why even ask?  IS, or any of the agencies, can always come up with some story about a special 'partner' deal, old credits, one-time discounts, or some other justification for these wonderful Sales You Would Otherwise Not Have Gotten.   We either accept them or close our accounts.   I got out of IS long ago, after the Google Drive giveaway.

Getty 360 is now Getty Plus, and is reported as Partner Portal Program (my error).
Why do you think your sales aren't part of that?

Because some items are reported as "Getty Images" (I´m not exclusive, so that has to be GettyPlus, right?) and some as "Partner Portal".

17/9/2015
Partner Portal: $0.19
1/9/2015
Thinkstock: $0.28
30/6/2015
Getty Images: $8.37

And Partner Portal always seems to be 0,19$.

I don't understand why, if you're indie, you have iStock sales reported as Getty Images. Did you used to be exclusive, and still have some files they haven't removed from there yet, or which were late reported?
If you were never exclusive, that's a mystery indeed. - you'd need to check with CR, who will likely (nosty?) be off over the holiday period.
Are your GI sales marked purple on your charts?

I'm not on TS, so I don't have any 'partner program' sales; sales showing green on my charts are 'partner portal' from the GettyPlus programme - not Getty Images, which are purple.

No, I've never been exclusive. And they all show up as green PP bars.

That is weird. You'll need to contact CR and wait ...

I was wrong about Partner Portal (and have corrected my post above).
I checked back all my green bar sales for the year (I get very few) and they all say Partner Program, so that must be G+.
I don't see anything on my sales for the past year as Partner Portal, so don't know what that means.
(I tried searching partner portal on the iS forum, but no answer; I see where I formed my mistaken impression.)

Thanks for your time anyway.

I just discovered I'm not the first one asking about it: http://www.microstockgroup.com/istockphoto-com/partner-portal/msg410140/#msg410140 (http://www.microstockgroup.com/istockphoto-com/partner-portal/msg410140/#msg410140)

It has been like that for ages.
No idea where these shameful $0.19 are coming from.
I wish for a way to opt out of this disgrace.

This one I do know. It's Getty Connect, which is a pay-per-view scheme,  but I don't pretend to understand how it works.

Nope, that's not the full measure of what they said.
(We're not supposed to quote from there.)

The December Sales thread is the most obvious one to try (hint).
