Title: Partner Programme early sales reports
Post by: gostwyck on December 08, 2009, 07:35
With the Partner Programme finally up and running some of those who have opted-in are reporting their November sales numbers here;

Woo-yays all round. Not.

Woo yay! There WILL be a Christmas!

I made 30 cents. Of course that could have something to do with the fact that I only opted in the embarrassing crap portion of my portfolio.  ;)

I had 25 sales = $7.50, seemed to start on the 13th November.

You can see the daily and cumulative sales on the stats page for November.

Still only a small amount compared to Photos.com sales through StockXpert.

Leaf, you can see the itemized list on the same place where you see the list of your other downloads, on the "My Uploads" page.
There are text links at the top:
Details | Subscriptions | Extended Licenses | Partner Program | Prints | Designs | Lightboxes | Disambiguation | My Profile | Portfolio

If you click on Partner Program and sort by royalty by clicking on that column header, you will see any files that have sold.

Ahh thanks.  That would explain it.  I must not be opted in because that link is not there.

Why was I thinking they were only paying 25¢. Did they change it?

The 25c only applies to Independent contributors. Exclusives get 30-38c on canister level.

I have $1.80 of partner sales in November - isn't that strange??

I'm a silver non-exclusive getting 30c. So canister levels must effect non-exclusives as well.

I'm a bronze non-exclusive and tested a few files with 0 sales. I also got 30¢.
So this equals the price given by StockXpert for Photos.com and JIU.

It does quite clearly say that non-exclusives will receive 25c on the partner program facts page?????? Maybe we got a raise already :-)

I'm still below the bronze level (no level ;]) and also got two sales for 30. So if I'm getting that, everyone will get that or more...

Great. Assuming they won't rollback this error, they gave me Christmas present worth $0.1. Over here I may be actually able to buy something small for this say in bakery ;].

Yeah, reading the Istock thread it seems sales were pretty anemic on Photos.com after the StockXpert content was removed (they were huge for me in the weeks leading up to the changeover).

On a possibly related note, since my content was removed from Photos.com my JIU sales have more than doubled. Even have gotten a number of OD sales at JIU over the past several weeks for $30 each.  :D

I think we know where some of those Photos.com customers migrated to...

My JIU and StockXpert regular and sub sales have also increased since the Photos.com content was removed, some of the best selling months ever. Hope it keeps on this way.

I wonder if some of the subs buyers have gone back to SS?  Subs sales seem strong there for this time of the year.  I still don't understand the logic of removing non-exclusives from photos.com.  It has annoyed a lot of contributors and I can't see how it has helped the buyers.  It looks like being a costly mistake unless they have a cunning plan that isn't apparent to me.
