It was some time ago when I signed up to iStock. And at the time, I submitted a display name which I thought would mainly be used on the forums and general interactions within iStock. And it was a bit of a silly name sort of like the one I'm using on this forum. However, it caught me by surprise when I found the same display name used as a credit line on photos sold through iStock. And to be honest, I'm not too happy about it. Is it possible to change my credit line through iStock? I would prefer to use my real name.

The procedure is that you take out a support ticket and ask for it to be done.
However, I did it about a year back, and they said it was changed, but my silly pseudonym is still there.

I did the same thing years ago but for a different reason. When I started IS in 2007 it was a complete professional embarrassment to even sell out and go sell on a microstock site so I used a psuedonym on IS to sell my rejects from GI. I know my username is still what it is, but you can ask them for using your name as copyright, and at that point you will more or less get a moving target of credit given as either your user name or real name. I have kept my nom de plume as it is established and there are so many images spread out on google search with that name I only think it makes sense to keep it, but also on the same search with my real name similar images also pop up and both link back to IS.
