Just noticed.
-
28 cent downloads again same as every month with no rate increase and doesn't even count toward RC :(
I can barely contain my excitement ;D
-
I've had a couple of $20+ sales already, so it's not all at the bottom rate. PP's + credit subs (or whatever they call them - the grey bars) have been ahead of ordinary iStock earnings for me for ages.

Image subs.
I'm not sure if they still do credit subs. I think they migrated their credit subs buyers over to image subs, though I always had so few of these that I could be wrong.

$20 sales? How did that happen? Most I ever saw from a PP sale was $3.96 or are you talking Getty 360? They normally show at the end of the month ???

There are apparently PP 'single image sales' for which exclusives get 15% (sic); don't know what indies get.
Check your Partner Program stats and you'll see your percentage at the top.

It is a Thinkstock Extended License Image Pack 10

Thanks for heads up. PP has been outselling istock for me too. Ahead of Istock earnings, but not nearly enough to compensate for the credit sales they cannibalized.

I agree, the financial page on SS is much easier to read .....no graphs and everything in neat tables showing your earnings per day :)
My bes PP as an indie as $9 in April for a single image. So far on 28c dribbles in May.

Please forgive the newbie question, but what is a PP? :D

Partner program with iStock. Cheap subs (mostly/all? from Thinkstockphotos) which show with green bars on your stats page. Confusingly, green bars could also indicate sales from GettyPlus, fka G360.
Sorry, I bet you wish you hadn't asked.

Thank you :)
I've just had my first batch accepted at iStock so I'm happy to be 'educated' on what to expect ;D

Any partner programme sales you get will be reported some time during the month after they happened but they will appear on the graph for the month when the sale took place, not the month when they are reported. You'll get more PP sales than regular iStock sales.
There are also the "image subscription sales" which are reported late, too, and which turn up as grey bars. It's a bit confusing, it's like getting reports from three different agencies.

Thank you :)

Historical note: iS used to have very strict acceptance standards, but for some unfathomable reason that policy was turned on its head about a year ago.

True that. I have 100% acception ratio.

It's funny. Today, the only time I use a curves layer to check for sensor spots is when I am cleaning my sensors. ;D
