I am relatively new to istock (2 months), and review time is about 8 days. I mean, it is ridiculous. Especialy with 15 per week uploads. Fotolia, StockXpert, SS, process uploads within 24hrs, only dreamstime is a bit slower, 3-4 days, but istock is slow like a slug. Why? Why dont they hire more reviewers to speed it up?

They don't want to if you ask me. They review the images for exclusives fast so they turn up in search in 3 days, for the rest it takes 7-10 days and so the exclusives have a great head start (cos the downloads per days rating). Also you submit only the best there since you probably make more photos then you can submit so you have to make a selection. So it's less work for them and also they get better images.

I hate almost every aspect of that site (except for money of course) It takes me 2 hours to upload 15 images! Why didnt they put batch upload for multiple files (with limit of 15), but no, you have to do it 1 by 1 on slow server.

Try DeepMeta program, you can find it on the forums there. You can prepare you files, put them in queue, then when you have slots you just upload.

Ok, tnx. :)

But they could incorporate batch upload in site, like every other site... hehe.

If you use firefox or the latest version of IE you can upload pretty quickly by opening multiple tabs and uploading an image in each one.  Definitely seems to shave time off my uploading there.

Yes... they've always been the worst for uploading and review times. I don't think review times have changed much in the past three years...

I have been on iStock since July 2006 and the review time fluctuate. The fastest I have seen for non exclusives is about 2 days. The longest is probably right now.

The upload limit is usually a problem only for people who have a lot of images ready (like chode) and are new to iStock. I think for the vast majority of the other people it is not a problem. I know that I have very hard time to produce enough images to keep the upload queue full.
