I just updated DM and saw that over a thousand images were purged. What does it mean?

The number is far exceeding those were rejected and deleted over the years. Does it mean some images are no longer downloadable from my port?

I've got 500 but my portfolio appears the same size can anyone enlighten us?

Typical istock.  They wont get rid of my images after I gave them a months notice to quit.  Perhaps everyone not wanting any images purged should do that :)
