Title: Refund for a Purchase of Your File
Post by: Microbius on May 21, 2008, 03:38
Is it just me or does this take the p*ss:

"We regret to inform you that a refund has been issued for a purchase of your file #xxxxxxxx:

Due to Site problems customer was unable to access downloaded files and we were unable to supply a file in a timely manner. "

what do I pay them 80% for if when they f*ck up I have to pay for it?

(I don't mind the refunds when they are not a direct result of IStock's own error)

The customer very well might have downloaded the file a second time immediately because of a deadline rather than waiting for Support to fix the problem.  In that case, you really didn't lose the sale it just seems that way.  :)

I didn't lose the sale, IStock did. Let's assume that didn't happen, why should I lose out when I pay them a huge percentage to sell my work and the error has clearly been made by them (i.e. not by me or the buyer)
