I have had some images rejected for incorrect editorial captions - any thoughts on the best workflow to resubmit - looks a bit of a slog to me!!!

If you use Deepmeta, you can add the image again, copy form the original, make corrections, and submit as a new file. (I have done this in the past)
-
Alternatively, have two iStock tabs both open at the rejected image. Use the resubmit button in one tab, and use the other tab to copy and paste the main fields. Your keywords will appear automatically if you resubmit, but you'll need to disambiguate them.
Try both methods and see which works best for you.

Thanks both. I'm not sure I follow Sue - do I still need to resubmit the whole file as I don't seem to be able to edit just the captions?

Yes, you have to resubmit the file.

Thanks - oh well some work for the long dark evenings!

And as far as mine, DeepMeta or IS knows it's a resubmission I don't have to do anything but make the corrections and send it up again. This is in the case of removing a logo from an image. I also updated the Description for better SEO.
Here's what the last re-submit said that tipped me off, they already know: "Since this is a resubmitted file, it does not count as another one of your Signature+ nominations."
DeepMeta makes everything easier. Uploading, editing, changing, and even the ridiculous Categories are all on one page, unlike the live site. I could update all my descriptions and click update and it's done. Don't need to sit and go through tedious menus, back and click like online.
Click, hit upload, go get a soft drink and a snack. Come back, it's on the site waiting for review or on IS waiting for the next indexing, updated.

I know I'm being redundant but trying to make a point. Try DeepMeta! ;D I resisted because I thought, I don't need more complicated software and don't need to learn something that already online. Well I was wrong. It's easier to use, recovers stats, easier to update old files, cleaner easier layout than IS online.

Has something changed and I don't realize it? (That is possible, as I haven't resubmitted a rejection in a LONG time.) In the past, DM did not know that you are trying to do a resubmit. IS has always stated that you must do resubmits via their website -- you must not use DM. Is this no longer accurate?

"F40. Can I resubmit rejected files with DeepMeta?
No, this is not possible. The iStock API does not support this." - from FAQ.
Seems I can find rejected files in DM then need to work out where I've stored them make any changes then resubmit doable but PIA
