Some keywords I enter appear with incorrect meanings, and no option is given to enter a new meaning.

For example, "mount" has only the meaning of mountain, not of a frame, and "framing" is defined only as "Finger Frame(Gesturing)".

In TotallyPhotos you could give definitions to words if the existing ones were not adequate.

I uncheck the wrong meanings, but then I can't associate the keywords with their correct meanings. What happens then, are they ignored if left unchecked? They don't disappear by being left unchecked.

You have to enter the actual name like Mount St. Helen, or don't use it as a keyword. Buyers are either going to search for the actual name of the mountain or they aren't going to search for a general mountian with the keyword mount. Common sense.

YY - I think she wants mount as in frame a picture.

M - I cant think of any other keywords that will work for you?

Any suggestions with keywords are appreciated.

Nevertheless, I would like to know how we can have new meanings included and understood - meanings that are in my dictionary (so it's not a language problem) but not in iStock's.

As CJ understood, I used "mount" as "frame" - I don't have any mountain in this specific photo - but iStock doesnt have this meaning for this word.

Hi,

I wondered too about the definitions. I think that if you uncheck all the wrong meanings, the keyword stays with the picture until you click on the minus sign on the left, then the keyword gets crossed-out.
