Slightly better than this year's average.

About average for me.  Best month in about 4 months, but lower than last October.

I don't see Canva referenced anymore.  Did they end their Getty deal?

By dint of having one decent value sale, a better than usual nowadays rpd meant it was my second best month of the year. Download numbers poor and my worst October ever (since 2017). But I haven't been in a position to upload much this year, so I'm relying on my back catalogue - on the upside, no expenses!

BME. New images move and gain traction, compared to SS where it seems I'm mostly uploading in vain and "living" off my ancient bestsellers.

I'm selling sound recordings/effects at Getty and been doing a steady $100-200/month the last 2+ years. Now it's down to $2.50! It's like the shut the whole audio section down! :o Anyone else?

Perfect allegory for iStock: you get shaken upside down, you get nauseous and at the end of the ride you're left with a major headache.

Exciting news and I haven't even looked yet?  ;D

The money I make from them is less and less every year. The only reason I haven't quit is the annual free bottle of Scotch that I buy with my earnings from IS. I mean, bottom line, selfish greed and a desire for an expensive single malt to celebrate getting paid pennies for my old uploads.

Now I looked:
Revenue 1.89 USD
Downloads 9 photos sold
RPD 0.21 average

So I ask myself?

At other agencies like SS and AS, you're pretty guaranteed that your RPD won't go lower than a limit. But at iS, it's like an endless pit. Still think it's right that I've stopped uploading to them.

A pretty solid month, a decent RPD. In terms of revenue, it's my third BME, but without real outstanding sale (I just got one sale above $10, generating $12.5), which makes the overall situation pretty solid.

I was actually dreading this month's results, as the reported interactions, the only regular stat I have from IS, got divided by almost two last month (I know I am not the only one to have faced that issue). It seems, however, that it's not really related to the actual sales, which is a bit reassuring.

Really notable increase of RPD, more Premium sales. I'll expect with interest the November report.

Excellent month (BME)!
Better than Shutterstock, due to a bunch of premium sales.

My favourite sale in oct'19 was $0.0006, the customer payed $0.00441 - its a kind of magic, when you can buy an image for <1cent ;-)

Actually 15% of 0.00441 is 0.0006615, so iStock even stole 0.0000015 from you  ::)

Glad to hear someone has some success. I hope many more for you and everyone else here.

I didn't mention it but this report is the WME by far. And I mean worse than the first month I was on IS when I started. Worse than some recent months since they eviscerated my collection. RPD before ESP was around $1.50 for mine. Now it's 21¢? And I figured that was just with the refunds a couple months ago. Well it's not!

That's the new trending return. Sept. 26¢, Aug. .28¢, July .30¢, June .42¢, May .33¢ while Dec. 2016 the first month was .78, Jan 2017 .75¢...

Audio shows the payment date as, Tuesday, February 25, 2020?

BME not counting this past July when I had one really big sale.  I'm up 70% over my average for the past year.  I attribute part of that increase to one video that has gained traction and is 18% of my October sales.  The other bump is one particular photo that continues to increase in sales and is 30% of my October sales.  Which means that 2 files are almost half of my earnings.

One years ago I put about one hundred video clips to Istock, to test amount of sales and earnings RPD

This month I reached a new low: 0,06$ for a clip (unbelievable)

Yes, I said 0,06, not 0,6

I've just asked to remove all my clips and close the video option from my account

I got the payment for this year, got a bottle of Talisker, and yes I did spend it all in one place.  8)
