Yes, they're having a server problem - see http://www.istockphoto.com/forum_messages.php?threadid=83557&page=1

Probably something to do with the BM2 testing ...

It's particularly bad at the moment andI  have only had 2 sales so far today.  If I was a buyer I would probably give up and go elsewhere.

I'm sure that's what happened yesterday. I was on target for a record day and then sales more or less stopped. Same again today now. The site is virtually unusable. They haven't been able to update stat's properly for about a year and in fact we seem to be losing functionality in that area almost weekly.

Pathetic really especially when you consider the vast resources they have available to them.

I still seem to be getting roughly average sales, obviously some buyers are persisting.

But they say it is not related to the BM2 testing planned this week...  probably just as well, it would bode ill if a few tests had broken the server!

They seem to have shut it down temporarily now, maybe that's a sign that it'll be fixed soon...  or am I just an eternal optimist?

I think they probably just tried 'Control+Alt+Del'.

I wonder whether the new BM2 will make things slower. In theory it might as the system will be having to do more.

I had a few sales yesterday but my counter is still sitting at Monday's numbers.  As long as the $'s are there....

Yep, Tuesday morning is last files recorded in the stat section - $ are accumulating however - so as long as the counter catches up I will be fine.

I cannot remember a week where everything runs smoothly on istock.
Always some hitch in the system. It a good job we only use the site to upload our work and  beat a hasty retreat.
Some buyers have no choice though as they have bought there credit bundles!

LOL!

I had a minor heart attack this morning when I checked my stats and it appeared I did the same volume yesterday as on Saturday.  I am relieved it was only a problem with stats updating.

It is a shame they are continually having problems with their infrastructure.  Reminds me of the roads here in Florida - they are always torn up and under construction because the planners are forever playing catch up.  Wish they would plan ahead for the amount of traffic and build accordingly - otherwise they will be forever behind.

Exact same thing happened to me. I thought maybe the new best match had kicked in and it was going to be even worse than the last one (if that's possible). Oh well, I have to just put a "???" in my record keeping for the IS revenue for yesterday.
