It always seemed to me like they are actually, actively trying. Hard.
Although to be fair, there might be a good reason for this: It makes it a little harder to search Thinkstock for a particular image you found on iStock.

if you choose only iStock on the advanced search "collections" might be easier

I was considering the possibility of resuming uploads to iStock, but the lack of credit on TS, along with the Google Deal stopped me cold. They have no respect for contributors, and I'm not willing to throw away my self respect by allowing them to treat me like a non-entity.
