Is everybody's Balance correct now?

My monthly Stats are correct now. The Sales are showing up there (from the 15th nov. onwards) and the monthly balance went up by $20,--.

My Problem is that the total Balance in the Bottom only went up by $0,48.

So in summary, my monthly stat went up by 20 Dollars and my total balance only went up by 0,48.

This really annoys me, since i'm loosing my trust. They could be only giving me 1/10 of the sales and i wouldn't have an opportunity to find it out.

Agreed.  My stats are updated, but I have absolutely no way to know if they are "correct".

Sorry, by stats, do you guys also refer to VIEWS as well? Because although some of you have mentioned that stats has been fixed, but I have not gotten any changes in view numbers for the past month... and wonder if that is related (then again it could be because my photos are no good and my portfolio is small, but even my newly accepted photos are getting zero views for over a week (even when my referral links are recording quite a few of clicks and signups)).

Just wanted to check if anyone else had the same problem.

Thanks.

I pay no attention to views so I have no idea if they've fixed that. If it's relevant to best match placement, then it's an issue. Otherwise I'd rather they worked on all the bugs that impede buyers and affect accurate recording of sales/royalties

I don't look at views, but let me explain the other post. If I look at the exclusive page, join and all that, it says I have ZERO downloads. It's been broken for a month. So if they can't even track that, I'm highly suspicious that other stats are potentially wrong as well.

Not a confidence builder.

I no longer see updated view #'s. Is there a relationship between "most popular files" "views" and "best match?" If there is, that's not working, too.

I think views was one of the things that broke when they introduced non-credit sales. Who has a clue what, if anything, isn't broken there?

It's like who has a clue about who's getting the "28,409 and counting..." 'extra' sales on iStock when most (not all) people have reported big declines in their sale compared to last Nov, (which itself was a month where many reported poor sales, but others were happy).

every time I log it my account has gone up by a few $$s and I'm terrified that's my total earnings coming through for November.

Is there absolutely nothing their IT team can do correctly? *
Having taken twelve months and counting to port over the E+ files to Getty as was promised in January, they're now porting editorial files, with no releases but marked on Getty, No release, but this image does not require a release. This image is available for commercial use.. Luckily I noticed the issure on their forum last night, so I'm keeping watch. I just had two drop in, and as I'm still Lobotomised sine die, I had to take out a ticket to ensure I had excercised 'due diligence'.

*Stupid question.

Added: and a further four editorials.
Honestly: this was reported last night; why is is still going on?*

*Another stupid question.

Could it not be that the rounding up of numbers throughout the calculation of your commission by IS they ended up with a 2 cent diff? Rounding up throughout a calculation can result in significant differences in the end result. Rounding up should only be done once, on the end result.

There was a lot of talk about a year-ish ago about how iStock round down at every stage. Someone had worked out how much it had cost him in a year, and it was scary.

I decided to contact contributor relations. They may never answer, and if they do it may be content free, but I figured I'd amuse myself and see what turns up :) I'll post if I get anything back.

Since I've gotten used to the situation at iStock I don't even remember how many times during 2012 the royalties have been wrong, and I don't remember if I have gotten paid either. How about you? Have you been paid?

And I still haven't recieved any login information to that Getty Research site (or whatever it's called). Have you?

I went to check on my ticket and it's gone from the list of open tickets. I used the link in the "Thanks for Contacting Us!" e-mail to update the ticket saying that I hadn't received an answer and the ticket had disappeared.

We'll see if that triggers a response, but I'm not optimistic. I'm still waiting for a reply to my May 4 2012 ticket asking if my forum ban is permanent - but at least that still shows as an open ticket...

I'm pretty certain that if you use either of the methods of adding to an open ticket, it doesn't get answered, either using the link in the email or using 'add comment'. I've never had a reply to the link in the email, and the one I added a comment to got no reply after the original auto-reply. And that's reporting abuses. But don't get me started on that subject.  >:(

Now there's one way Rebecca could improve communication on the forums - lift the ban on you and many others that have been booted.

I've come to the conclusion that as soon as iStock makes any reply the ticket gets removed from the user's open ticket list. So any reply, even a bargain basement click here response, does the job to get you off their back.  I keep the emails and then inquire again later about the previously open ticket. Generally on hard tickets the ticket stays open even if not on the open list. They must have thousands of still open tickets in the queue that nobody looks at.

Why did you get a ban?

This post about the new Feast site.

It was a sarcastic post referring to the many current site bugs, one of which was that adult content (and other) filters kept getting reset. I was pretty miffed that they were spending time on stuff like that instead of getting the site working.

Lobo sent me site mail and told me to "take a little break". I've been banned ever since. Not only that but all the site mails lobo sent me and my replies to them were removed from my site mail. He was a bit rude, but nothing that could get him fired. I was pretty spooked that he'd go to those lengths.

That was September 2011. In May 2012 I opened the ticket to ask if the ban was permanent and if not, to ask for my privs back. September 5 2012 I received a comment on the ticket from Brenda (oldladybird) saying "I am going to forward this onto the correct department as it was assigned incorrectly and was buried in the ticketing system."

Three months after that, I guess it's buried in another part of the ticketing system...

Wow, thats kind of harsh, I dont think thats worth a ban. Overreaction. I have been reading comments on their forum that were really out of line, your comment doesnt seem to be in that category tho.

He's very picky who he bans and totally random as for how long. (Me: 2 years and counting, but I'm past caring.)
