What credit sales at IS?

I now make less than 10% in IS credit sales then I made a few years back.  Gone from making several thousand $ in credits per month  to couple hundred.  With large portfolio.  Never  in my most cynical moments I ever thought it could go so low on IS.  And the subs only makes up a tiny fraction of the difference.

TS, Partner, no canisters, RC, lower commissions, one size all, Subs, and you wonder why our credit sales have gone into the shitter? 6 subs are one credit sale, 6 TS are one low credit sale, plus percentages cut, and one size is all. They are diverting sales to cheaper programs that pay us less. New sub packs are doing the same.

I wouldn't surprised if IS says, no more credit packs and gives customers a year to use what they bought.

I  don't wonder why credit sales are gone.  I am angry credit sales are gone for all the reasons you mention.

I was just talking with my wife about how i am going to get rid of all this studio gear, panning units, etc. when i jump ship from this game called microstock.  I have invested a good chunk of change in equipment and its made me some good money over the years. But like you, i am angry. This continuing peeling away commissions through sub schemes is the end for most who want to make any decent money. Of course the fault is mine because nonody twisted my arm. But to up ones game means a little investment.

But i am angry at the agencis as well, lying, cheating, creating illusions like istock just did. They know that 90 percent of contributors either dont pay attention or drink the coolaid. Us ~10% are probably baked into the defection model that most companies do as part of their analysis.

It looks like they may have finally reached the point where reducing contributor royalties has had a negative impact on them and are now reversing it. No company would willfully hand that much of their profits out of the kindness of their hearts. I hope this is the start of the turnaround toward more positive things to come. Been waiting a long time.

Looks like my enthusiasm may have been a bit premature

If its walked like duck for that past several years, there is very little chance its a goose once again. The capacity for hope among my fellow humans is very large, but so is denial.

1. The new level payments is ONLY for the 'sub' packages, not all subs.
2. This is mid-Nov, not late-Nov.

I was also curious about this.

In the case of these 0.28 payments, is there any way to know under which subscription plans were they sold? The new packages or the regular ones?

Not until the new payments are back-dated.

Has it started yet? I just saw a 0.72$ increase which is apparently the balance of one of the sales under the new sub packs.
I still didn't get where i could check which sale this balance accounts for..

8.64  :)

They announced it, they did it. That is even more important than the money. Tiny little steps forward...

In July 2010, when I only had a couple of images in my portfolio, I made more $ in credit sales than November 2015. It's mind-boggling how low iStock has sunk.

So, does this news excite me? Nope. IStock is dead to me.
