I have a lot of photos to finish off but istock has been very slow this week and I can't do the tedious keyword and category selection when it is this slow.

Is it as slow this week for everyone else?

At the moment reviews seem slow, the site itself is slow or has 503 error, and downloads decreasing for me. To me it seems strange (apart from possibly my lack of downloads), but you'd have thought with Getty behind them they would be going from strength to strength.

Wish to hell they would take it down and leave it down until they get it fixed. It keeps coming back up, and I go in to do something and they've taken it back down again.

Harumph ... it's affecting sales, too - only 1 DL so far today and about 70% of "normal" for yesterday.

They're not even updating the stats anymore.

It must be annoying for those who went exclusive to take advantage of the unlimited uploads day.  I was annoyed when they made that for exclusives only but now I hope they do it again.  Less competition on the other sites where I make 80% of my money more than makes up on missing out with istock.

Same here regarding sales. Only 4 since Friday. Ouch. Thanks for this post ... I thought it was just me.

Maybe they should have spent some of the $50m on systems.

Very little sales, and today I discovered uploads are in hold.  Pity, Sept started as a good month.

Ugghh... This reeks of Fotolia V2 all over again!  It sure doesn't help matters that Getty's stock has been dropping to bargain-basement prices lately.  If they start making cuts, will they make cuts at IS----maybe from the IT dep't??  Hopefully not.

** sigh **

Nah, Getty's stock is doing okay. Their debt is low, and their cash flow is also still positive. Many stocks across the board have been going down for the last couple of months. It's just a correction. Well, the housing market has also been dragging everything down a bit too. But still, I'm sure that Getty's stock price will stabilize to thirty to thirty five dollars per share in a couple of months. Perhaps more.

Despite all the problems, this month is going to be one of my best there so far.  I might have had a BME if the site was more stable.

Hope they fix it soon.  Haven't had a BME there since March.

This is all set to be my worst month on istock since last September.  Most other sites are having record months.

Sales at istock are really low for me as well.  Kinda funny how some are having BME's through all this mess yet other like me and you are getting clobbered.  I was reading all of those threads and some people suggested that the # of views played a part in the Best Match algorythm, which could explain the change since that was not being tracked.  Who knows.  All i know is I'm thankful I'm not exclusive.  I'm sure it works for some but certainly not for me.  Especially now.
