I've used nothing but the uploader.  I think it is a great little program.  A little slow starting up and it has a few quarks about it, but very nice.  The greatest thing is the categorizing.  It is local and you have a search function, so it is really easy to categorize your images without playing with the categorization tree.  It is similar to FTP because you can start the upload process and then leave it without having to babysit it like most non-FTP multi-upload systems.

My System is a Win XP Pro with SP2.

hmm well i wonder what is wrong with mine.

You can search for the catagories quite nicely on the istock website, but i get stick of all the little check boxes, which the uploader would help with.

I dunno what is wrong with my computer then.  it says it has problems connecting to istock :(

hmmmmm

The only downside of iStock uploade ris not being able to see thumbnails, so you need to know where your "good" files are.

My favourite method these days is to start FTPing a few files then to drag and drop new files into the queue when they are ready for uploading.

Are DT, FT, BigStock  and StockXpert the only ones with the FTP option?
