Lol, I got used to it. Serbia is almost always excluded from country lists, or sometimes represented as Yugoslavia, or even Serbia & Montenegro (countries that don't exists anymore)

I'm guessing you have England in your list of keywords already - the way that dialog works is it excludes from the sub-terms of something any keywords already found in your list.

If you don't have England in a list you see this:

Thanks for the explanation. I have England already indeed. I didn't think the dialogue was so "smart".

Anyway, it's funny that Britain is mapped to UK, and then you can specify Northern Ireland which is UK but not even Britain, but not England.

And from Dorling Kindersley, too! It's a good thing the agency files are subjected to the same stringent controls as ours.

I also see the most expensive possible option is now listed first, followed by small, medium etc. Do they really think this will boost income?

Yep I had to write to Fotolia a while back to add Montenegro to the list of countries.

I hope that's a bug. It's pretty ridiculous the way it is. IIRC, you can't buy Vetta or agency files at XSm size, but with that layout, which I can't find on any of my own, people could easily make a mistake and buy a huge size thinking they were buying a tiny size, as that's the layout on other files. Meaning they'd be generating bad will and costing time and money processing refunds.

Later: yes I guess it's a bug. I haven't found it in a random selection of images, even in agency, e.g.
http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-photo-14266426-senior-couple-near-sleigh-and-horse-in-snow.php?st=324e3cb.

If I wasn't banned, I'd sweetly post it in their extensive bugs thread. ;-)

I've never noticed that before, but will look out for it in future.
However, at least one admin thinks (or thought, in the recent past) that England and the UK are "synonymous".
He'll be first to the wall if Alex Salmond gets his way.

Well it wouldn't be the first casualty of confusion over who rules what in the British Isles :)

How come "Great Britain" excludes Northern (and Southern) Ireland while the "British Isles" includes them? How can the "Greater" be the smaller part?

I think the funniest part of that is the language (English (U.S.) It's good of you Brits to speak American English.

Oh, we're all multilingual  ;)
In my case:
1. Scots
2. Standard Scots English
3. Standard English
4. English (US)
and after a few days in East Africa, I can get back into English (East African) also.

But there's nothing like Italian English

Did you ever try a thorn beer? Just be careful, it stings  ;D

seen at a bar in Turin ("spina" means both "draught" and "thorn" in Italian):

No wonder people don't want to see Agency files.  >:(
Plus, they are 'cleared', so no way to directly report them.

Both of those examples were brought up in the forums when the agency content first started showing up. Along with the toilet door and some of the other stuff that supposedly went through the inspection process the rest of us do.

The fact that no one has done anything about it in over 6 months is pathetic. I think it's like finding out of date food in a grocery store or ripped clothes or missing buttons in a clothing store - it just looks as if the people running the place don't care enough to mind the store.

I guess too many people are assigned to other mission critical tasks like adding Facebook/Twitter buttons or marking sale prices (and there's still nothing about the sale on the home page or photo landing page, but that's another rant).

Has the toilet door reappeared? They pulled that off the site back at the beginning.

I probably should have been clearer in my wording - the threads that talked about all the "mistakes" showing up in the agency collection when it was new mentioned these two DK maps. AFAIK the toilet door has gone for good so whoever needed that would have to go to Getty Images for it.
