I don't know why this would be - I haven't deactivated anything on IS - but for the second time, my portfolio on Thinkstock has shrunk.

I haven't deleted anything, deactivated anything or, as far as I know, had anything deactivated by IS. I checked the annual CSV file which shows 0 deactivations.

I had been watching portfolio numbers to see how much had made it over, and had been seeing an increase up until about a week ago to a high water mark of 2,014. I had been very surprised a few weeks back to see new approvals show up at TS the day they were approved on IS too, so things seemed to be improving in getting files moved over.

About a week ago I saw the 2,014 drop to 2,008 and then this morning it went to 2,007. I have no idea what files are gone though; and recent approvals are no longer showing up right away.

Nothing to be done, but has anyone else seen their numbers drop for no obvious reason?

Same here 6 months ago I added over 600 to the PP and today none of those have been added and at least 2 that were already there have disappeared.

I just checked.  I haven't kept track of how many files I have there, but I have around 500 fewer files on TS than on the Istock site.  However, sorting by age, it looks like they have recently transferred over a large portion of my newer files, including ones that were just uploaded a week ago.

Sorry for silly question - I'm new to iS. Where can I find how many (or which) of my images are on TS?

Go to Thinkstock and search for your username and then also search for you real name in quotes ex. "john smith".

I used to be able to search using my name or istock username but I've tried every variation possible now and can't find my portfolio there.  I can search for my individual images and they come up, so it appears to all be there but search by istock user name has been removed?

I can still find everything using my real name.

My Thinkstock portfolio is smaller than my IS portfolio, too...and I don't remember it being that way before.  It looks like mine shrunk as well.  So weird, because a year and a half after deleting several hundred images from StockXpert, those images are STILL on Thinkstock.

Searching for your name (first name and surname) enclosed in single quotes I see 1226 results.

I haven't checked yet but that could explain the big drop in TS sales last month.I was $50 down from the average, that's what, 178 downloads? Hard to believe that's just ebb and flow.

Thanks, I was using double quotes, always used to work.  Got it now with the single quotes.

Just happened upon a thread on the IS forums complaining about portfolio size being reduced - in one case by thousands. I've continued to see files get added and then the count drops by one or two a few days later. Photos.com is right now 12 files short of the Thinkstock total, and they've always been in sync before.

I was over in the Partner Program forum to see if there had been any complaints about no sales for September - there weren't, or the threads had been deleted if there were (I think they made it a rule never to ask about sales start date when they began that forum).

I did, however, run into a thread about an increase in rates promised for April that was still missing at the end of September. That was only image packs, but the notion that they are being so slow at paying us money owed is not at all OK. ASA says within 30 days, although it does use the phrase "best efforts" which may be their get out of jail free card :) The new rate schedule was posted here.

Same here, about 10% fewer files at TS then IS. My experience so far is somewhat differant. TS seem to sell quite well actually, small sales but plenty of them and I was up 70% this month.

10% missing for me too.   Thinkstock sells well for me as well.  About 1/3 of all IS payments come from the partners.  Not a good thing though as they would probably have bought at another site that pays better or bought credit sales at IS if Thinkstock didn't exist.

Not only that; check this, partially visible image previews. How is this ever supposed to generate sales?  ???

Bunch of muppets running that site. I have zero fear of TS ever hurting SS in any way. They just aren't even in the same ballpark.

I don't consider TS being better that SS, but the fact is that lately I've seen several magazines that used SS or Fotolia using now TS. So, in some way, TS is biiting on SS... what is bad, because with this status quo is difficult that any of them dare raise prices.

Similar sightings to Loop.  Nearly all the "stock type" images on my Yahoo Page are "Thinkstock."

Just great.  So then still no word on when we can expect to see PP sales from Sept begin to roll in?  >:(

I think you hurt Kermit's feelings comparing him to Istock...
