Maybe you're the latest to get caught up in whatever causes files not to be sold. I'm on my fourth day without a sale, that that hasn't been unusual this year. Read sales threads over there, and on various other groups and you'll see it's a common and becoming ever more common experience.
Things there just go from bad to worse.
I think I have to regard it now as a subs site with very occasional credit sales.
Oh, the irony.  :( >:(

Sadly I have to agree with you on this. I used to get 15+  credit downloads a day consistently and now it's more like 5+, but my subs have now gone up to easily 25+ a day, and the sudden drop in income is killing me. Subs are simply killing the industry from a contributors perspective.

by the way, very low price of subscription sales are decrease revenue day by day both of contributors and istock  itself (or Getty or whatever...) we were so good without subscription before, they are destroyed an already working steady old sale system, now they must do something... but I do not think they can do something now...

I think they have done something... it's called if you can't beat them join them and sell subscription sales.

I also think the dumbest move Istock made was selling only one size, it pretty much drove people away who only want a small or medium image. If they were smart they should reinstate selling perhaps three sizes at three different price points, small to cover web usage, medium to cover up to 5X7 print, and large to cover anything above 5x7.

Everyone wins this way. That's my two cents.

I think you're right. It's too bad istock is so closed off and out of touch. It's easy to forget not every buyer is going to be a graphic designer and not everyone has software to work with images. If the choice is buy from istock then purchase or download image editing software to resize the pic or simply go elsewhere and download the same image or a similar one already sized down to web ready proportions, which will they do?

Or the other alternative is download the large size from istock and use it as is and then others can find 20mp unwatermarked images on google.

Over 1 1/2 years, sales are flat. Isn't Summer lower sales time?

Although prices are the same for every size, buyers can download the size they want (at least under classic view), and to my surprise not all buers download the largest size.
Whether the price should be different by size is interesting - normally a print use will have limited reproductions, reach and duration. Some web images are used for years on international websites. Which has the more value to the buyer? Definitely debatable.

Not always historically for me. But this year is far, far worse than flat - every month a deep dive.

the same has been happened here in the previous days....i think it's all about best match...unfortunately Istock is speculating with best match to average sales with all contributor to reduce complains

I am very angry with istock for what has happened in recent years, istock doesnt care anymore exclusive artist, lots of exclusives turn to non-exclusive recent years, me too, because of exclusivity has no meaning anymore...

My revenus decrase 4-5 times in recent 2 years while I am in exclusive and now almost 10 times down since I left exclusivity....

I am very angry with istock because I feel like to be fired my job....

I am very angry with istock because istock doesnt care and listen contributors anymore...

I am very angry with istock because our works and efforts serving agencies at very tragic-comic prices and we all lost money...
