Title: Trying to Understand "Connect" by Getty Images

Checking the Getty Images Contributor site, I have read this page several times and still do not understand what "Connect" at Getty is.

As I understand it, certain Getty images are embedded in publishing tools. I get it that photographers will only get minuscule amounts from sales, but I'm trying to understand what "Connect" is and what these publishing tools are.

Can anyone enlighten me about this? Tnx.
