Title: vectorians/how does one get to be on the frontpage?

I was always wondering...

how do they choose who goes in the vector of the week ????
does anyone knows?

is it random?

You offer one of your images to Bortonia via site mail. You can find the link on the Vector front page. They may or may not take you up on the offer :)

The vector of the week is nominated by an inspector and chosen by the vector admins and is supposed to represent an exceptional file that has come through the queue during the preceding week.

There is also a free vector of the month available for download. This is handled in the way described by jsnover above.
