An Istock admin has said in their forums that BIG things are coming for video later this year, but they gave no specifics. So probably nothing to get excited about.

Entirely possible.  Like I said, it could be anything.  My guess is that they will offer something more favorable to attract 4K artists because they treat 4K the same as HD....you make the same money.  I have 1000 4k videos that they will never see unless they change their commission structure.

iStock can change anything they want to but unless the royalty rates change dramatically I won't be submitting any video to them, period. Unless they've finally wised up (doubtful) any BIG announcement will just be a bunch of fluff.
