Title: Your hopes for best match 2.0....
Post by: shank_ali on February 13, 2009, 14:34
Given up even caring now...
My portfolio has now reached a size  with such diversity that what ever these "faceless  geeks" at HQ decide on all my bases are covered and i WILL get sales.

I do hope new files get a boost in this new best match.
The VIEWS beside my new files are in single numbers........
Seems the inspectors are testing, testing, testing this new best match as K. Thompson mentioned.

I have no hopes. IS is all over the place for me: was going strongly till october, then dropped around 40%, last month had a BME by 30% and this month it looks like I'll be down about 60% (even lower than after october best match change).

It has took awhile ro realise that istock are interested  primarly in  the buyers.
More so since the buy out by Getty i suspect.
We just keep plugging away trying to create an image a designer/buyer might find a use for.
The new B.M 2.0 when live is going to have a massive thread in the forum.
If the contributors are not happy with it do you think istock will listen and change it  ::)
