I am looking for this always on light setup from Cameron. It's make 750 watts and have three hallogen bulb (250w each). I wonder to know if I can use a softbox whit it or the fire risk is high. I know this light source is very hot and take a lot of electricity.

I heard that a 500W  flash system can deliver the same amount of light than this always on system. Because the light flash is concentrated in a 1/250 second that make the light intensity more powerful. This is true or false?

Finally, in a studio, at what shutter speed can I expect to work whit a 750W always on source or even whit a 500W studio flash. Do it's too much if I work at f8 (for example)...

Thanks to everyone!
