I Tried to go to LO to check my stats and was redirected to a page that states that Luckyoliver.com expired.
'This domain name expired on Jan 07, 2007'
The click here takes you to: www.expertsrs.com
Whats up with this?
Anybody else found this happen to them?
-
It's fine for me, but I didn't try to log out, just in case :)
-
Yep....I haven't been able to get in also....Looks like somebody didn't pay the bill...
Not a real good sign on the part of Lucky Oliver....
-
it seems fine now.
-
I still get redirected...
-
Still redirected... ::)
-
same here.
still redirected.
???

I was just on the site and read the latest blog and looked at the newest Photo of the Moment (a bulldog in a party outfit). So, needless to say, there are no problems from the East Coast of the U.S. (*, NC).
-
I am redirected also??
-
Redirected, and I'm in the U.S.--Chicago. Hope it's solved soon.
-
I'm about ready to ditch them anyway. I've been on since around October and have had only one download. I have done much better on other sites.
-
Internic says that it was renewed today. Maybe it just hasn't propogated across the entire web yet. What a crappy host, though. Mine holds my domain in escrow and despite the fact that I've waited till the last minute (and a little past a couple of times) my site has never gone down and it has never shown as being expired, even when it technically was.
That being said, I can't believe a "wannabe major company" would be so irresponsible. I'll admit that I am, but I don't hurt anyone but myself if I forget to renew and my site goes down. They have other people counting on them. Other people whose images won't be in front of buyers today.
Not very impressive.

I admit it is a bit disappointing - however, maybe it points to them working so hard on finding new customers that they let this one slip by. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and let this minor incident slide. It has happened to many major companies too and this won't be the last.
Minor blip.

I have seen major improvements on their site lately. And my sales have just started. So I'll also give them the benefit. I really like the site and hope they do well.
It's just good news that theirs some parts in the world that can actually still see the site. At least means they're not down the tubes, which is always the first fear.
-
I'm surprised we're not receiving any kind of message/explanation from them??
-
Sorry gang...We're on it. I appologize for the problems.
-
Thanks Bryan, good to hear from you.
-
Guys, it should be fine now- we had a mix up with our domains. We appologize for the problems. I'll do a blog follow up.
-
Still can't connect on the West Coast
-
Still no luck here in Britian. (Pun intended!) ;D
-
Sorry, your ISP might take awhile to get the updated DNS information. The problem has been resolved, but some people may not be able to access the site.
-
I am able to get on the site now.
-
Don't scare me folks!!! :)
Bryan, what is the problem with reviews? They used to be so fast...
Regards,
Adelaide

Madelaide- the problem with the reviews...you guys slammed us over the holidays! I made a mention of it on the blog. We're responding by training more bouncers- but it takes a little time. We have a 6-7 day backup...but were jammin'. I appreciate everyone's patience- scaling this operation takes a little work. We just want to make sure we're doing it right.
-
I'm guessing Bryan, did the 50% life royalty bonus valid up to Dec 31st helped boost the queue with plenty of pictures from new photographers who decided it was a great time to upload their portfolios? They were very fortunate to get this special treat.

How long does it take to spread the DNS over the world?
It's wednesday here in South Africa and I can still not get in.

This is now ridicilous. 3 days now and I still can't log in to LO.
Am I the only one, or are there other countries that can't log in as well?
-
Jippeeee!!!!!
Finally after 3 days I can log into LO again...
Now Brian... How about passing some of those record sale customers my way ;D
-
i managed to snag three of them yesterday :)
It seems to be picking up there. I have gotten 10 sales so far in 2007 which means 1 sale a day on average.
-
I'm only on $7.2 so far with LO, but then again I mostly do wildlife.
I do like the site and will continue with them. They have th personal touch, which I like in any company, simmilar to Richard Branson's approach.
