Title: Albumo 250$ question

I've uploaded 250 files on Albumo and now I'm hesitating to go 1000. What about 250$, is this real money ? Enybody got them ? - in your paypal account I mean  ;D.

it is really the $75 question as that is their payout limit.  As they have no sales so far (they haven't started marketing) I guess you have to find someone who has uploaded more than 1,500 photos to see if they have got payment.

First, you get a $25 credit for uploading 250. After 1000, it's .10 per. The payout is $75, so you aren't going to get a payout until you get some sales.

On sales, I had one yesterday. In researching this, I find there are 627 images with one sale each. There are 10 images with more than 1 sale, but this includes 2 that were obviously used for testing, so the most sales for 1 image is 4.

The e-mail I received from them after I submitted over 1000 images said that the credits for uploads will be computed each month - so on August 1st I'd see the credit for all my July uploads. As that will be over $75, in theory I can cash it out right away. I'll let you know how things pan out

I received my credit for the files I uploaded and have requested a payout (via PayPal). They said it takes up to 3 days to process, but so far so good.

I'm not surprised. Unlike a lot of new sites I think this one is going to be a good one. I'm working on my uploads now but it will take me awhile to reach 1000. I'm going under a different name this time. Don't ask me why. It's just something I'm trying.
