Guys, your help is need.
I always read that someone to save time for submitting files to several agencies....add keywords and Metadata in his computer (someone with lightroom...someone else with bridge...ecc...)....and then the files are ready to go anywhere.
I have adobe bridge and lots of .jpeg and .mov....I would like to use bridge for the above mentioned goal....but I don't know how :-(
Could you kindly tell me how to use it?
I imagine....open bridge....select the file....and in the panel of metadata I can edit, right?
Questions:
1) Can I set even categories? If yes....different agencies have different categories...and so how to manage the issue???
2) When I add metadata with Bridge......does bridge automatically re-save jpeg with the added info? Is quality of jpeg is affected?
Thanks

There are no fields for categories defined in the EXIF/IPTC/XMP standards and thus no microsock agency can fill categories automatically based on the image metadata.
The only way to set categories (and releases or other agency-specific metadata) and to have these fields automatically filled on the agency website later is to use software that imitates user actions on the agency website. However due to the complexity of the task such software is not free.
For setting titles, descriptions and keywords and uploading files there are few free software products around though, like Xpiks (https://ribtoks.github.io/xpiks/) or StockSubmitter (http://stocksubmitter.com/). They are NOT affecting JPEG quality when saving metadata. Also editing multiple images at once is possible.

Listen to this guy and use his software!

You can give me also a chance: mymicrostockupload.com. In the past I´ve tried to solve the problem with the categories but without a API from each agency it´s not possible. You can add some categories inside the IPTC metadata but no agency (exception fotolia) read this data. As a developer you have no chance to do this job :-(

StockSubmitter does that.
Not only categories but also releases and other custom agencies fields.
