Title: Microstock Plus Alternatives
Post by: Shuttershock on May 12, 2025, 16:39
Hi,
Does anyone have any recommendations (tried and actually works) for an alternative to Microstock Plus / Stocksubmitter for Mac? I have used these products for years without issue however now they cannot get Pond5 or Shutterstock to work on my account so it serves no purpose now. Thanks

1. Upload online, directly on the site.
2. Cyberduck FTP client.
3. Throw out a Mac and buy Microsoft. Install FileZilla and don't pay money for Uploading.

Hi

Pond 5 does work eventually try opening MS in Google Chrome to "Manage Agencies" Pond5.  You might have to pass the catchpa.  I'm on Windows so it might be different for MAC.

Shutterstock is also working.  Try logging into SS via MS "Manage Agencies", MS should initiate a token from SS to your email or text for you to enter.

If you're really stuck contacts are at
https://stocksubmitter.com/

MS is very buggy with Pond5 unless they get a permanent fix.  So far I've not been able to find anything better.

Both agencies are working but you have do some captcha in advance not the fault of Microstock Plus. The workaround from Microstock plus works flawlessly.
The only alternative I can think of is imstocker great software very good for keywording but submitting is limited to a few agencies nice but nothing beats Microstock plus than it comes fir submitting in my humble opinion

I may add that I use both softwares in conjunction, I keyword with IMStocker and then send them to M+ for submitting. IMStocker makes it extremely easy to send them to M+ without losing any metadata even the specific M+ metadata is supported , it's just a press at one button. I think both apps are really well done and have their own strengths.
