Hello all,

today i got e-mail from Skrill:

We recently noticed that you have been using your Skrill account to accept commercial payments.

In accordance with our Terms of Use article 4.7: https://www.skrill.com/en/siteinformation/terms-conditions/, [nofollow] your account is now considered a business account and subject to Receive Money commercial rates.

This change means the fees applied on your account are currently determined by your monthly transaction turnover.

However, you are eligible to apply for Skrill's Merchant Rate: https://www.skrill.com/en/business/merchant-fees/, [nofollow] which lowers your fees as your sales volume increases and is based on your previous month's sales volume. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss the options available and find the best solution for your needs.

Q: What payments are deemed as commercial?

A: You are using your Skrill Account for commercial purposes if you are receiving payments for or in connection with any business activity. We reserve the right to determine whether, in our reasonable opinion, you are using your Skrill Account for commercial purposes. If you are using your Skrill Account for commercial purposes, in addition to these Terms of Use, you shall be bound by our Merchant Terms and Conditions and you shall pay fees as shown on our Merchant Fee Page https://www.skrill.com/en/business/merchant-fees/. Best wishes,

PayPal needs a copy of an ID and proof of address

Fees are tiered and its free to withdraw money. No hidden fees, no monthly fees. But you need to open a business account as well. You cant use a personal account to take commercial transactions.

I registred my account on Paypal with Premier type. It's verified now but i still have Receiving limit per year limit. I need to remove this limit and Paypal want Identify account holder (ID and Proof of adress). I sent them these documents and i get answer:

Thank you for responding to our requests to further verify your customer
information. As we cannot lift the EU-Receiving Limit on your PayPal
account until all requirements have been met, we would appreciate your help
with completing the steps below, so that we can review your account further.

Personal/Business Information:
----------------------------------------------------------------

PayPal is constantly striving to keep you secure. As a fraud prevention
measure and to comply with industry regulations and protect the community,
we ask you to Provide Business Information and set up Bank Funding when you
are verifying your Premier or Business account.

You must complete both steps for the account to become Verified and to lift
your sending and withdrawal limits.

If you do not own a business you can still provide some information about
the items you sell on eBay.

To complete the 'Supply Additional Information' form you will need to:

1. Go to www.paypal.com [nofollow] and log in to your account.
2. Click "Profile" at the top of the page.
3. Click "Update" beside "Business Information".
4. Click the "Edit" button. You will be asked to complete the following
information:

Business Type - if you are not a Business you can select "Individual"
from the drop down menu.
  Limited Company Number (if applicable)
  Date of birth
  VAT number (optional)
Category and subcategory - select the type of goods that you sell or
might sell
Anticipated average transaction price and volume
Sales venue and business website (optional)
Percentage of annual revenue from online sales
Date business established (If you are not a business, select your
account creation date or your first transaction date)

5. Click "Save" to finish the process.

By providing this information, you are helping ensure that payments being
transacted through PayPal are valid and within the terms of the User
Agreement. Please be assured that we value your privacy. As stated in our
Privacy Policy, the information you provide will not be reported to outside
parties without your knowledge.

Once youve completed these steps and provided any additional information
we may need, your case will be reviewed by one of our Account Specialists.
Well send you an email with the outcome of the review.

If you cant complete these steps, click Contact Us at the bottom of any
PayPal page to get more information or to contact Customer Service.

We appreciate your business and thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Does anyone know what are the exact criteria when they transfer you to a business account. I see 2500 mentioned, is this official?

And just to confirm - making a business account on PayPal is free and there are no additional charges?
