Hi,

I have always been using Stock Performer, it is not perfect (does not support Canva and Creative Market for instance), but I generally liked the features on their Eagle plan such as collections. Now I am looking for some cheaper alternative. Have anyone used Microstockr or maybe some other service and would recommend it? It must be safe and reliable.

Thanks,
Michal

I've never tried Stock Performer, but I have really got attached to Microstockr over the past 12 months or so. I find it really helps to see what has sold and often seeing those little thumbnails of an image I took years ago triggers a new idea for a different edit or a different series of images.

I wish it did Canva, but other than that, it meets all my needs.

I've also been using Microstockr for the last 6 months or so. It really needs to add more agencies, and the program (on Mac at least) is quite slow and could use some improvement, but otherwise it is good and useful.

I have 20 agencies an 16 000 images, and I do it.
The longer was to prepare the initial Excel spreadsheet, with all the agencies and various graphs. But this was one time for all some years ago.
Then an average of 5 minutes a day is absolutely enough to open 20 web pages and see the daily total for each day.
For other kind of calculations (RPD - RPI, etc.) I spend a little more time once or twice a month.

You obviously have no clue what those programs are actually doing... ::)

You know me, maybe?
No!
So Speak for you and not for the others!!

I perfectly know Microstockr, I use it on my smartphone since years, and I have also used the computer version for one year, participating to the debugging program
It is a nice program but, as with Excel I do the same thing, I don't want to pay all this money just for a nice (very nice in fact) interface.
And then Microstokr does not support half of the agencies I am with, so in any way I need an other solution (And I have it).

You obviously have no clue of what you are telling

All these programs give you the sales and earnings of each individual file - across all (supported) agencies. Not just daily totals... Good luck doing that with excel  ;)

You can do all of this and much more with Excel, but it's an IKEA solution. You have to know how and some assembly is required.

Microstockrs ux is miles ahead. But jury is still out for me. Using both currently to see which I gravitate to more often. Lately its been Microstockr.

Stock Performer is about 3 times more expensive than Microstockr for generally the same features and similar agencies supported (stock performer eagle plan), so now I am closer to Microstockr.
Do you believe Microstockr is also a safe app ? I mean you need to type all your agencies passwords in there.
Is the support responsive from your experience ?

MicrostrockR is great - the Windows version is fast enough and really does the analysis that I need. I have contacted support a few times - they had been very responsive. I also use the Apple IOS version ... compared to the Windows version it sometimes takes longer for agencies to be fixed if a parser change is required - I assumed this has to do with the time it takes to get the App update through the Apple process.

Bottom line is that I believe it is totally worth the money. I suggest you just try it out yourself - seems that a free trial is still possible.

They say they are. I personally don't trust anyone with sensitive data, even though I have to sometimes. Fortunately I can live without by using just my own scripts. And Excel.

I wouldn't trust anyone with passwords and API keys.

It doesn't really matter if the people behind the app are trustworthy - all it takes is for them to be hacked and all your information is conveniently leaked in one easy move.

I'm amazed at what people give out left and right. I guess you have to be hacked once or twice before you start taking this stuff seriously.  ;)

And please don't use the same e-mail/password combination at several sites. It's every hacker's wet dream.

Hi guys,

Initially we didn't want to comment on this thread but there is some erroneous information going around.
We do not store your credentials(emails, usernames & passwords) on our servers. All that data is only stored locally on your machine and is encrypted. So if our server gets hacked your sensitive information is not in danger. We only store the credentials for your Microstockr Pro account and the subscription status on our server and if these are hacked your agency login info(stored on your computer) is still safe.

Communication between the user and the agency is done over HTTPS, which means all data is encrypted end-to-end.

This is a small community and a niche app. If someone was hacked word would get around quickly and we'd run out of business.
Hope this helps clear things out a little bit.

Cheers.

Hello ! We're in 2022 and I wonder if there are other new apps like microstockr that are offered. I searched but couldn't find it. I use microstockr for years but always have bug and I would like to change if something better is existing.  thank you  ;)
