Which microstock third party software / website's do you use in your microstock workflow?  I am interested hearing what everyone uses.

I use Yuri's keyword tool a fair bit, DeepMeta for iStock and FTP (filezilla) for uploading then PicNiche for daily download entertainment :) and news.  I have tried out  LookStat and iSyndica but haven't really gotten them into my workflow as an everyday tool.

Cushy stock for managing all photos and stocksites and most of the other options it has in it. Picniche for all its options, only not for FTP upload and Filezilla for uploading to a few sites that does not work with my version of Cushy stock. And sometimes Adobe Bridge for the repair of problems with XPM and IPTC keywording. All of them does a good job for me.
At the moment I'm doubting if I would do better to use XMP instead of IPTC for keywording all my new images.

Keywording - Yuri's tool (perhaps it is not fair to author to call it Yuri's), Cushy (keyword editing), Bridge (fixes for occasional problems)
Upload - Cushy for shutter (small batches), DeepMeta for IS, Filezilla for others
Analysis - Excel + statsmicro.com (at this moment latter is personal tool, closed for registration)

Don't forget flemishtagger, the most usefull for me

Thanks. I wrote it 2-3 years ago when there wasn't Adobe bridge and no plugins for spell-check in PS. I'm still a bit reluctant to use the Adobe proprietary IPTC model. Flemishtagger works fine for me, together with Irfanview. There was a time I wanted to add a textbox for Title and Description too, with automatic import into the keywords, and add the Princeton public domain database for synonyms and CV, but it would be too much work for now.
For quickly sorting the keywords, I didn't find an alternative yet.

By the way, Frank, the author of DeepMeta is a Brussels guy too.  ;)

I accidentally checked PhotoExpress, but meant to click DeepMeta. Sorry about that.

I sometimes use Wikipedia to find other names or related terms for items.  For example an "adjustable wrench" is also called an adjustable spanner, shifting spanner, shifter, fit-all, crescent wrench or adjustable-angle head wrench.

Even though I have others, this one works for multiple agencies at the same time and is free. I like FREE things.

Filezilla has another advantage over the distribution systems like iSyndica. I upload different sizes to different sites. The subscription sites like SS get the 6MP version, DT, IS and FT get the 12MP version and midstock without subs like ZYM or 3DS get the 21MP version. I"m just not ready to give 21MP shots away for 35 or 36 cents.

For the rest, keep it simple with open source that wont disappear overnight. I don't like all those databases that I can't control. I order my shots per shoot day, with the file name = shoot YYMMDD_sequence number, one folder per day. No fancy database needed. The Windows file system is enough. Releases of that day go in the same folder: easy for the new IS release policy.

Irfanview is for tagging per folder: it can handle (sub)batches well. It's open and it doesn't rely on the proprietary Adobe IPTC system. There was one tool I really liked and that was Lookstat. But when it became unusable for SS and they didn't follow-up for other sites, instead concentrating on Backoffice services I can handle much cheaper and better myself, I discarded them.

I use Yuri's keywording tool and DeepMeta when I occasionally upload to iStock. Like both of them.

I do my keywording mostly in LR but sometimes in Bridge - though I found with the latest of version of Bridge when I added new keywords to batches where the images had different keywords to start with, all the files in the batch ended up with the same keywords from all the other files and not just the new ones I added - hadn't used Bridge in a while and wondering if this is some weird glitch in the latest upgrade? Never had that happen before. I also sometimes do my keywording right in PS.

Will have to check out the other tools mentioned - the only one I know is filezilla and I find it's not great on a MAC - I use Cyberduck for FTP, but not for micro - My micro port is pretty small so the browser uploads are generally sufficient for me since I don't upload huge batches.

Also use Excel/Numbers for keeping track of earnings, RPi, payouts, and the like but would love to be able to track which photos I've uploaded where easily. Is there a tool for that?

SIX YEAR OLD - OLD THREAD ALERT

LOL I hadn't noticed since there were recent replies and the poll still worked. Thanks.
Opened another thread this morning and realized it was from 2009. Wonder how that happens.
Would still love to learn more about the other tools if they are still around.

I use my own site for submitt video to videohive shutterstock pond5 and depositphotos  It automatically creates video previews, photos previews and fill in all required fields on videohive creates a ZIP archive of the main video and sends to videohive :) Now I send videos to videohive as simple as sending videos on shutterstock

My favorite is WebDrive. Use it to connect to my OneDrive Business account and also my personal one.

Having said that, I also like OneDrive and use it at home and at work.
