Title: Change the user interface language on a Mac
Post by: Barmaley on December 03, 2017, 12:13
I understand that StockSubmitter can work in English or Russian.

We are using StockSubmitter on a Mac. We downloaded an English version and expected to be able to change the UI language in preferences.
However, no choice found there.
Didn't find anything in Applications or Library\Application or in the installer.

We would like to use the Russian UI version. How can we do that?
Is the choice in another place?
Should we download a language file
Download a Russian version? If so, from where?

thanks, Paul

I think that you should have Russian set as your system language.

Apple menu > System Preferences > Language & Region

Clicking on the " + " you add the language(s) you want.
Then you can drag them up or down to order.
The one on the top of the list is the primary language (the one used by the system)

If you change the primary language you have to log in/out or restart the computer to apply to the whole system and applications.
If you don't log in/out or restart it will be applied only to the applications that you will successively launch.

For more information click on the " ? " to get the instructions

Unfortunately, the Mac OS X version of the program doesn't have multi-language UI yet.
We're planning to add it soon though.
