Title: compatibility between windows and Mac SS
Post by: AYA on July 09, 2019, 09:59
Hi,
I've been using 3 computers to do my keywording on files located in Dropbox depending on where I work.
At home, I use a Windows laptop and Desktop computer and adding KWs descriptions and titles work perfectly and are read by both computers.
When I work from an other location, I use a Mac laptop. I can keyword and add all the info but when I go and read the info from a windows computer, I get a bunch of asian symbols in the fields. I did find a workaround exporting and importing the CVS file but there has to be a smoother way, no?

Thanks!!

First of all, we've stopped Mac OS X version support a long while ago so I would recommend to rather use our web service Microstock.Plus

If you still want to use it though, you can try choosing different metadata reading priorities in Win version (top right combo box, try IPTC and XMP values).

Thanks Niakris,
I tried to create an account on Microstock.plus but it said that they are no longer taking people for the beta version. Would you be able to add me so I can try this one instead of the Mac version?

Thanks!
