Title: How to Set State for an Single Agency?
Post by: sunflowerstock on March 14, 2015, 23:16
Hi there,

Despite all issue I am having, I am still learning and try to make good use of Stock Submitter.
Hope the tool stabilize soon and will be really useful to increase productivity. So far, unfortunately, I had been probably faster to upload manually to all agencies...

Ok, back to the new matter.

It is clear that for some reasons, the latest update of Stock Submitter can't handle the submission of Keywords and Categories to SS.
So, since time is money, after uploaded a batch of new images to SS with Stock Submitter (and this was done right!), I have then fixed and input Categories manually on SS website.

Now, in order to keep proper tracks of the status, I wanted to set the status of this new batch of images, FOR SS ONLY, to "Submitted".

What I have found is that the status of a single image seems global and not applicable for a single agency. What kind of asset management is this? Any way to set manually the status for each individual agency?

I find this management unreasonable as the inability to submit Keywords and Categories to SS is StockSubmitter fault, not my fault, not agency fault.

Please help me and also advice me if I am doing anything wrong!

Cheers,

Tina

So images were uploaded with StockSubmitter to SS without any problems and appeared at the unfinished section correctly?
What is the issue you're experiencing when attempting to submit them using the program? If it is some kind of an error - did you send error message?

Also, it is surely possible to set the status for the specific agency: just click on a status icon to the right from the agency name in the bottom panel and select the desired status.

Hi Dmitri,

I did not realized that was possible to set state of a single agency, now that I know that this is possible, this is a great news for me!

Keep developing this good tool!

Cheers,

Tins
